Lecture on ‘The lost river: on the trials of the Saraswati’ Back
A lecture was organized on the theme of the River Saraswati titled ‘The lost river: on the trials of the Saraswati’, by Michel Danino on 14 September 2011 at the INTACH Multipurpose Hall. Mr. Danino has contributed books and papers in English and French on issues related to the origins of Indian civilisation. Michel Danino described the Saraswati as a powerful symbol of the flow of Indian Civilisation and how it is the only river to be deified in the Rig Vedic Hymns.
