The paintings of Madhopur are internationally acclaimed. INTACH Madhopur chapter played a role in this by helping artists like Babu Lal Ji. He does different kinds of paintings and has taught more than 300 people, who have now started independent ventures. His family has been historically related to the royal court as painters

However, all of these artisans feel that they are not able to make adequate money with their art products due to lack of government support and market and there are high chances of their culture disappearing.
