Book release –‘Masked Identities’ Back
The observer Research Foundation in collaboration with INTACH, NCPA and Asia India Centre released the book Masked Identities on 17th September at the NCPA Experimental Theatre, Mumbai. Secretary, Ministry of Culture Sangita Gairola gave the keynote address; with Odisha M.P. Baijayant Panda as the Guest of Honour. Vice Chairman Tasneem Mehta participated in the Panel Discussion on Intangible Cultural Heritage, along with Chairman Sangeet Natak Akademi, Leela Samson, former Chancellor NURPA KK Chakravarty, Founder Sahapedia Sudha Gopalkrishnan, Chair Linguistic Survey of India Ganesh Devy and others.The event concluded with a performance of Purulia Chhau by Padmashree Nepal Mahato and troupe.
